Weight loss is everywhere you look these days. In Glasgow there is no point denying we have a problem. To help tackle the problem we have put together our own fat loss club (WHAM!).
It is important to get a balanced lifestyle and we do believe that the more ‘real’ the food is, the better it is for you. We avoid sugar, wheat, gluten, dairy (because it doesn’t agree with us), processed food (that’s not to say that we don’t ever eat them – who doesn’t enjoy a slice of cake??) and alcohol (we do have an occasional Guinness).
We are not dieticians so cannot give you a specific diet to follow. We will however review your current diet in detail and look at where you can make changes.
That is why we have devised WHAM! – Weigh (Hey) And Measure
WHAM (Weigh Hey And Measure)
Forward Fitness’s fat loss club is different to all the others. We are the first fat loss club that does not focus solely on what the scales say.
We have both also been on their own fat loss journeys and know that one diet plan does not fit all. There are no points systems or ‘free’ food lists. We want to educate you, help you understand what works for you. Sometimes it is a case of trial and error. Understanding that you can’t out train a bad diet and that 80% of successful fat loss is dietary changes and 20% exercise.
You WILL NOT will not have to train for hours a day.
You WILL commit 100%, be honest and accountable about what you are eating and drinking.
You WILL write a food diary every day (as you are eating) we like photo’s… lots of them
You WILL NOT judge yourself if you have a bad food day (we all have them)
You WILL forgive yourself if you do have a bad day and get back on track the next meal (80/20 is a reasonable rule to follow)
You WILL eliminate all processed foods from your diet
You WILL remove as much sugar (in all forms including fruit, dairy¸ alcohol, artificial sweetners, any ingredients ending in ose)
We WILL review whats happening and make sure that you are enjoying what you are eating.
We WILL give you information on different types of eating plans that we have tried and tested; intermittent fasting, vegan, detox, gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, food intolerances
We WILL put you in contact with external help if you have food issues that you need to overcome. Emotional eating can be a hard cycle to break without external help.
You WILL achieve your goals if you do the work – we will be here to help motivate and support you and answer any questions you may have. If you don’t follow the rules you won’t get the results.
So you just don’t have time to get along to classes. Life is getting in the way. So why not join us online. At only £5 per week, you will take your weight and measurements and share it with the group, you will do your food diary so we review your diet, you will do exercises at home which we will provide you, you will make a difference not only to your shape and fitness but to your life, you will be part of a Facebook closed user group to give and receive support, you will share ideas and recipes. AND if you can get along to the studio we can do your weight and measurements for you.
