Jen thanks for a fantastic massage yesterday. Best nights sleep I have had in ages.
First off – I’m aching in places I didn’t know it was possible to ache – just saying.
I’ve got a lot out of it and have now got options for cross training at the gym and exercises I can do at home – think that the press ups are going to be my favourite for a while.
My hope is that I can get the walk done – be stronger and leaner as a result and then start training for the Great Scottish Run Half in October
Thanks loads for all your help with my efforts thus far. I’m wearing my zip up boots to work which means that my calves must be a little smaller at least.

I am over the moon and just seeing the numbers on the scales get smaller is huge motivation. Wham club is working for me and I am one happy (and slightly lighter) girl.
I was a typical gym goer when I met Forward Fitness, i.e. I hardly went, talked about it a lot and, on those occasions I did make it, didn’t really push myself and, the biggest thing for me, i would become easily bored by doing the same circuit again and again and again. That changed as soon as I started working with Jen!
Apart from the obvious push and drive that a skilled personal trainer gives you it was the sheer variety of exercises, routines and circuits that kept my attention and want to train when we first started. No workout was ever exactly the same and it was also clear that, when I had been going to the gym myself, I’d been playing well within my capabilities.
With Jen pushing me to go a little further than I thought I could every single session the results started to show really quickly and now, about 18 months since I started, we are free to work on specific goals like the current ‘six pack challenge’ (which is going very well indeed)!!!
I believe starting personal training with Forward Fitness was one of the best decisions I have made in my personal development and I would urge anyone who finds it difficult to go to the gym or finds that no matter what they do they aren’t getting the results they want to give Forward Fitness a call and see what amazing things you can achieve.
Body fat has went from 32% to 29.9% in 3 weeks! And lost 21 cm all over ! WHAM is working! But it shows even have u have slip ups you can always just work extra hard at the gym and eat healthy again and it will fix itselfs! I just unfortunately have more slip ups than others! Haha! But thanks WHAM! xx

Feels great to give and have the support! Everyone needs that motivation and being in the group gives that….you feel if you let the group down if you cheat but if you do have an off day your more determind to get back on track…. WHAM!
It’s a great support! Pushes you that wee bit more coz you feel like your letter the group down if you cheat. Get find new recipes and its easy to work…. WHAM!
i am not bloated, i found its helpped me tone up more, its fun learning new stuff to cook, Like the fact you do it in a group, it motavaties you more, before and after photos show it works… WHAM!

I started doing pilates classes with Jen and Elle in early 2010. As a journalist I spend a lot of time in a sedentary position at my desk writing. I had been doing personal training sessions with both Jen and Elle, and they suggested doing weekly or bi-weekly pilates classes might help alleviate some of the aches and pains associated with sitting at a desk – not least the inevitable stiffness and tightness in my neck, shoulders, hips and lower back which I had began to accept as the norm after a long day at the office.
What I like about Elle and Jen’s classes is that the things they teach in pilates are useful in everyday life. Since beginning pilates I have improved my range of movement, strength and balance. I find it a useful tool in reducing my stress levels as well.
I have found pilates also provides the perfect complement to my 10k and half marathon training, particularly in keeping my hamstrings in good working order. My core is notably stronger too.
After a class I feel light as a feather and about 10 inches taller – my shoulders are no longer in that tense way up around my ears. Likewise I have noticed I am much more aware of my posture at my desk on a day-to-day basis. I would recommend Jen and Elle’s pilates classes to anyone who shares these problems.
I’ve had both Elle and Jen as personal trainers and they are amazing! I don’t think there are enough good things I could say about the two of them. I struggle constantly with work pressures and a huge amount of stress, but I know by the time my PT session is done the stress will have melted away. I also struggle with my weight and have found that not only are they talented and knowledgable about what they do, but they’re motivating and so understanding!
I go to massage with Jen too and after looking for 5 years in Glasgow for a massage therapist that matched my amazing one in Canada, I found her in Jen!
I have made use of Jennifer’s skills in Sports Massage on many occasions and can thoroughly recommended her skill and ability in rejuvenating tired and aching muscles.
If she can help an aging frame such as mine, I’m certain she can benefit any client suffering overuse or muscle tensions.

Not all personal trainers get you results. I know. Before I met Jen my trainer at the time was not listening to me and my goals were not being achieved. Jen took the time to understand what I wanted. Being naturally slim I find it hard putting on weight and importantly muscle. Jen has built a programme which as seen my body shape change to being athletic and my strength rocket. Last week I did squats with 85kg (70kg from weights and 15kg from the olympic bar) it might surprise you but I only weigh 65kg!! Our sessions are always different and quite unique – I can see other people looking at us in the gym while we train wondering what on earth are they doing? I’m not going to say every session I have with Jen is fun, especially when my t-shirt is soaking, my muscles are aching and she says “one more push up then you’ve only 10 more left to go” but I know she is pushing me for the right reasons. If you are looking for a trainer that listens, understands and can help you achieve your fitness goals then I’d pick up the phone and give her a ring

In just a couple of months Jen has expertly guided me in a range of workouts, always different, always interesting and pushed me to go further than I would ever had gone had I been left in the gym myself. Every routine has been perfectly constructed to get me what I want without me ever really noticing that she is just making it a little harder, a little heavier and a little faster each and every time.
Having decided to return to keeping fit last year (at 42 years of age) I had made the mistake of too much too soon and picked up several minor injuries. I use Jen’s massage services which came highly recommended from a much younger friend and I have definitely benefited from regular massages
